I didn't know Melina too well, just the time that we spent together in class, and doing assignments together. The time that we did spend was a time I will cherish. I loved hearing about her life in Germany, and I would tell her about America. We would always laugh about our teacher's way of teaching, and carpool to every class event together. When I heard about what happened, it was during the class that I met her in. I was the only one she would talk to in that class, and I was very grateful to have met such a kind and beautiful person.
